Stuck in the 2020 mindset? Maybe last year it felt like life was happening TO you, not FOR you and you fell victim to your circumstances (like about 95%) of the world! Don’t worry you’re not alone. 

But maybe, amongst all the lows, self-doubt and fear, you realised that there had to be MORE! A way to live in a happier, freer state regardless of your external environment and all that was going on around you! 

Let me share something with you… this hit me HARD last year, and once I became aware of it, my entire LIFE shifted gears! 

Your thoughts and feelings CREATE your reality!! 

That’s right, your life that surrounds you in this 3D world, is an effect of the mindset you carry with you daily! 

Did you know we live in our subconscious mind 95% of the time, meaning that only 5% of our behaviours, actions, reactions, thoughts, and feelings are a result of our conscious intent. 

Let me explain!


After reading Dr. Joe Dispenza’s book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself this summer, and combining it with the tools I have been practicing over the past 18 months, it became VERY clear that I can no longer fall victim to the circumstances that surround me. 

In fact, something needed to CHANGE (and drastically)! But why had this ‘change’ and breaking free of old habits been SO HARD! 

This is something Dr. Joe dives DEEP into in his book, but let me share with you the 411 of what I took away and applied for my life to start changing! 

You may not be aware of it, but our belief system is developed in our early years of childhood, it’s said by the age of 7 we have formulated our beliefs that we will carry through into our life. 

Crazy to think that our childhood can have an ongoing effect on our reality, 10, 20, even 50 years later! And this is where the WORK comes in. 

Over the past year and a half, I have been working with coaches and doing my own ‘inner work’ to identify these beliefs, where they came from, breaking free of the limitations that they caused me and doing the healing work to retrain my subconscious programming. 

Because the good news is… it is NEVER too late to do so! 

However, as I was identifying these limiting beliefs, questioning if they were true, re-writing my thoughts, I couldn’t understand why at times when it REALLY counted, I would revert back to my old programming. Dip into self-doubt, fear and victimhood. 

How could I be learning so much, practicing SO much and yet not seeing a lasting change, and this is where Dr. Joe’s book deepened my understanding. 

You see, our thoughts create emotions (often linked to memories that we have drawn from the past), this emotion then creates a chemical reaction in our bodies, will heighten certain hormones, change our physical state/reaction and even switch genes on or off. 


And quite frankly the most powerful tool you will ever own! 

So, what does this mean? Well, over years of thinking and feeling a certain way and creating these responses, which become habits, and eventually ingrained in our subconscious, it is like they are programmed to be on autopilot. 

Therefore, when you enter survival mode (as a result of an argument, stress, overwhelm, anxiety, shallow breathing, pressure etc), we are drawn back to our subconscious programming and thus wind up repeating our old behaviours time and time again! 

Frustrating right! The things to note here, is that you are allowing the body to do the work of the mind. As Dr. Joe discusses in his book (albeit backed by an immense amount of scientific explanation which is mind-blowing), we need to focus on consciously reprogramming the mind, until our new thoughts, actions, behaviours and habits replace the old limiting ones. 

During this process you are literally re-writing your brain, reconnecting neurons and disconnecting the ones that no longer serve you. As you do this you begin to elevate your consciousness, mindset and become the observer of your mind, thoughts and feelings. Essentially you have taken back control! 

So, if you’re over living in the mindset of 2020… which believe me, is NOT serving you! I strongly encourage you to pick up this book and give it a read! It has quite literally CHANGED MY LIFE! (and I don’t say that lightly).
